Our Vision

Every household, school, club etc. should be contributing to help our greater environment by composting the biodegradable waste they generate.

It is important to compost in a way that does not encourage plagues of flies and rodents and that is also relatively quick so that the benefits are evident.

The compost-a-lot is constantly evolving, some are filling them with worms, and adding little taps at the base so that worm tea can be captured.

We are currently experimenting with wooden frames rather then steel and also by not drilling drain and vent holes in the drums. We would like to take compost-a-lot to the next level which would see them being made by relatively unskilled people in communities, using re-used drums is a production constraint at present and we are researching having a purpose made drum manufactured from 100% recycled material.
